I am an artist & designer, located in beautiful mid-Wales, in the upper Wye Valley and near to the Elan Valley reservoirs. I produce a wide range of both abstract and representational works, and also work as a freelance teacher and mentor.
Living in a rural area for most of my life, nature's forms and colours have always been important influences on my work, though this is not always revealed in an obvious manner.
On this site you can view examples of my work for exhibition, commissions, outdoor public art and greetings cards. I use a wide range of materials in my work, including oils, acrylic, glass, reclaimed windows, mirrors, pebbles, slate and other mixed media, much of it being reclaimed and recycled from its previous uses, something which I always do as much as is practical.

This new work called ‘Elephant Hawk Moth & Co’ was developed during my artist in residence stay at An Acre of Art. Within the image it features the names of 132 species of larger moths recorded in my garden.
